Claim Snapshot

Claim Snapshot is a background process used by multiple Reports.

Claim Snapshot stores the original insurance write-off, fee, and expected insurance payment information when a claim is created. The Claim Snapshot cannot be viewed in Royal dental Software. Changes to estimates, fee schedules, insurance benefits, etc, do not affect the Claim Snapshot.

Fees, write-offs, and estimates stored in the Claim Snapshot affect the following reports:

The fees, write-offs and estimates in the Claim Snapshot may differ from what is shown in the Claim Procedure. An existing Claim Snapshot cannot be updated or changed. In order for fees, write-offs and estimates in a Claim Snapshot to be updated and affect reports, the existing claim must be deleted and recreated. This will create a new Claim Snapshot.
