In Clearinghouses, double-click Electronic Dental Services.

Electronic Dental Services - Dental (EDS Dental) is an E-Claims clearinghouse. You can visit their website at www.edsedi.com or call them at 800-482-3518. They will supply you with a program to install and help you set it up.

EDS Dental also offers:

• Electronic billing: See Billing Defaults for electronic statement setup.
• ERA 835 download: See ERAs.
• Attachments: Not integrated within Royal dental Software and is done through EDS separately.

Enter EDS Dental details using the screenshot above as a guide:

Comm Bridge: When set to EDS, claims will be sent directly to the EDS clearinghouse. When set to none, claims will be sent to the Claim Export Path instead.

Use Claim Export Path: This is only an option when EDS is the Comm Bridge. Check the box save 837 files sent with e-claims to the Claim Export Path. Uncheck to block saving the files.

Do Not Download ERAs: This is only an option when EDS is the Comm Bridge. Do not automatically download ERAs.

Download ERAs: This is only an option when EDS is the Comm Bridge. Automatically download ERAs to the Report Path.
